So I have begun writing a campaign. I thought we might as well lavish in this opportunity to play if we are to be here together for some longer time. It is coming together, at least there is that! Possibly even quite nicely.
Prologue
Good folk are hard to find these days… I see You have gotten Yourself a plate of food.
Stay a while and listen. ‘Tis a story about betrayal and intrigue amongst the hierarchy of the rulers in charge of this very Kingdom! I tell Ya, I tell Ya..!
There are strange things going on in the world, these days. And even stranger during the nights! ‘Tis the royal family I say Ya I tell Ya! They be vampires! Today You bow, tomorrow You bathe in their bloodbaths, waiting to be eaten!
Oy! Were ‘ere for You old cooky fool! We be the ‘Hands of the Kingdom’ and You ‘ave a warrant after yer arrest! Who be these strangers with You?
His tonounciation changes and his demeanor eases up. He clearly has changed his disposition.
Will they be….err…accompanying us to the Castle yonder? The King! He wishes to speak with thee.
You must gather Your party before venturing forth…
